Judging of a fascinating variety of Livestock classes, covering beef cattle, sheep, pigs, and pygmy goats, began at 9.00 am, with prizewinners taking part in the afternoon Grand Parade. There was also an impressive eight rings of Equestrian events commencing at 8.00 am and which included show jumping, showing and donkey classes.

A packed day's programme (see left) is scheduled in the Jack Nash Main Ring. The Countryside Arena had its own very popular series of traditional countryside displays. A wide range of Rural Crafts, some of them very unusual, were demonstrated around the showground throughout the day. There were attractive shopping opportunities at the usual wide selection of Trade Stands around the showground, in the Craft marquees, the tempting Farm Food arcade, and at the well loved Womens Institute display.

Full details of the whole day's events and all competitive classes are contained in the Show Programme and Catalogue - both available for sale on Show Day.
